Peachtree Accounting Software Training

If your business uses Peachtree Accounting software, you can feel a little left out given the ubiquity of QuickBooks. However, Peachtree is an excellent accounting solution. Many CPAs and professional accountants prefer the Peachtree Accounting software because they believe it provides more control over your accounting data.

The one unique challenge of using Peachtree Accounting software, however, is that fewer bookkeepers and accountants know how to use it. And the extra control that's supplied by the software makes the software harder to use. For these reasons, I do provide Peachtree Accounting software training to tax return clients. (Note: If you have some other CPA prepare your tax return, you should get your Peachtree training from them.)

Typically, an hour or two of personalized training at your office is all a person needs to learn how to record those "standard transactions" that make up most of the accounting in a business. Consider calling me to set up an appointment if you feel that you'd benefit from this assistance.

Let me also share this thought: If you're frustrated with Peachtree because it's too difficult to use or you're having trouble finding accounting help (accountants, bookkeepers, office managers or whatever) who understand and comfortably use the software, you may want to convert to QuickBooks. QuickBooks is more popular than Peachtree simply because QuickBooks is easier to learn and use. And note that if you have been using Peachtree, converting from Peachtree to QuickBooks is fast and relatively easy. Peachtree will supply much of the data that QuickBooks needs to get up and going. And much of what you and your accounting staff have learned about accounting with Peachtree will apply to accounting with QuickBooks.
